Kidz to Adultz South: Connections, conversations and clinical insight at the heart of a fantastic event
The AJM Choice team had a fantastic day at Kidz to Adultz South 2025, a vibrant and inclusive event that brought together families, professionals and suppliers to share ideas and explore solutions for children and young adults with disabilities and additional needs.
This year’s show proved to be one of the most engaging yet. While not vast in scale, the event was busy and full of energy from start to finish, with steady footfall throughout the day and lots of meaningful conversations. From parents and carers to occupational therapists and physiotherapists, we connected with many individuals who were passionate about creating positive outcomes for young people.
What stood out was how valuable attendees found our clinically led approach. Many commented on how refreshing it was to see a mobility solutions provider that offers specialist clinical support. Having Michaela White, Occupational Therapist, on our team drew particular interest and positive feedback, with professionals keen to discuss the difference this makes to product selection, setup and postural outcomes. It’s clear that our ability to bring together product knowledge with clinical expertise really sets AJM Choice apart.
The conversation on stand often centred around key challenges in posture and mobility, but it wasn’t all about products. Many discussions on the day reflected the wider needs of children and young people - from therapies to support neurodiverse users to ensuring environments are inclusive and supportive. The event itself did this brilliantly, with sensory spaces and breakout areas providing calm spaces for children to rest and recharge.
Of course, there was lots of product excitement too! The JOSI range proved a real hit, particularly the opportunity for children to test and interact with the product, resulting in lots of smile, great feedback and plenty of further interest generated for follow up.
We were also pleased to be joined during the day by Steve Doble from Active Design, our specialist manufacturing partner, who stopped by to share valuable insight. Active Design develops innovative seating solutions that support posture and comfort for individuals with complex needs. Their expertise adds further depth to our clinical offer, ensuring we can provide tailored solutions that truly make a difference.
Perhaps most excitingly, the event has opened the door to a range of new opportunities. We’ve come away with promising discussions to continue with new suppliers, potential partners and therapy professionals, all keen to explore how working with AJM Choice could bring clinical insight and personalised solutions to their clients.
Kidz to Adultz South wasn’t just about products, it was about people. From children trialling equipment and parents seeking trusted advice, to therapists sharing expertise - this year’s show reminded us why we do what we do.
